KuVS Summer School 2024 Internet of BioNano Things //June 18-20, Hohwacht
Last week, some members of the SyMoCADS team took part in the Summer School Internet of BioNano Things in Hohwacht on the Baltic Sea. The Summer School is organized by the “Communication and Distributed Systems” (Kommunikation und Verteilte Systeme, KuVS), a special interest group that brings together scientists and researchers working in this field and serve as their representative body for other institutions. Prof. Kathrin Castiglione gave a talk on fluorescing bio-markers and Dr.-Ing. Maximilian Schäfer took the participants into the world of gateway technologies. Our young researcher associates – Apurwa Jagtap, Daniela Wegner and Timo Jakumeit – presented their research topics during the poster session on Tuesday (June 18) and had a lot of fun during the “Hands On Session” that took place on Wednesday (June 19). With all the interesting and stimulating talks and discussions and the beautiful setting of the venue, this event will remain unforgettable for the participants. Thank you KuVS for organizing of this really great event!
