IoBNT Project Meeting in Lübeck

As part of the ongoing Internet of Bio-Nano Things (IoBNT) project, representatns of IDCMaximilian Schäfer, Sebastian Lotter, Timo Jakumeit – together with Daniela Wegner (Institute of Bioprocess Engineering), and Apurwa Jagtap (Institute for Electronics Engineering) recently attended a workshop at the Media Docks in Lübeck. The two-day event featured engaging sessions on molecular communication in medical applications and collaborative discussions on project ideas from various partners across Germany. During the event, our team, presented an overview of IoBNT interface requirements, covering perspectives from bioengineering, electrical engineering and mathematical modeling, as well as a brief history of existing interfaces. In addition to the formal sessions, participants enjoyed a city tour of Lübeck and a delicious dinner together at the Brauberger restaurant. The second day was dedicated to group work, where the next steps for the project and detailed the approaches for the current work packages were defined.
