2nd SyMoCADS Seminar, April 7, 2025

Our second seminar took place on Monday, April 7, 2025 in Medical Valley Center in Erlangen. Presentations on the status of the reserch projects of each cluster were given by all of our doctoral researchers and Sebastian Lotter updated us on his cross-cluster project (P10).  Good job everybody!

As a highlight, we invited two experts from different areas of molecular communication. Prof. Tobias Ackels from the University Bonn Medical Center gave an exciting presentation on how olfactory information is used for spacial orientation in animal world. Prof. Werner Haselmayer (Johannes Kepler University of Linz) presentented very interesting new molecular approaches for the Internet of Bio-Nano-Things, a heterogenic network of natural and biological units that ar connected to the internet.
